Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated May 19, 2026

This page is the Data Deletion Instructions URL for the Menyu Meta app. It explains how to revoke Facebook or Instagram access granted to Menyu and how to request deletion of related data retained by Menyu.

  1. Covered data. When you connect a Facebook or Instagram account to Menyu, the integration may process information needed for the features you use: Meta account identifiers, accessible Facebook Pages, linked Instagram Business account, Page identifiers, access tokens, published or prepared content, comments, engagement information, and technical metadata related to posts.

Menyu uses this data only to display connected accounts, publish content, manage comments, and provide the features you trigger from the app. Menyu does not sell this data.

  2. Revoke access from Meta. You can revoke Menyu access from Facebook:

    1. Sign in to the Facebook account that authorized the Menyu app.
    2. Open Apps and Websites in Facebook settings.
    3. Select Menyu, then click Remove.
    4. If Meta shows an option to delete data, confirm the request.

This prevents Menyu from accessing new data from Meta. To delete data already retained by Menyu, also send a request using the process below.

  3. Request deletion from Menyu. Email [email protected] with the subject Meta Data Deletion - Menyu. Use the email address associated with your Menyu account or include enough information to identify the connection: Menyu email, Facebook name, Facebook Page, Instagram Business account, or Menyu organization.

After verification, Menyu will delete or anonymize associated Meta data within a maximum of 30 days where permitted by applicable law. Some information may be retained if required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

  4. Data deleted. Deletion covers Meta access tokens, linked account or Page identifiers, cached profile or Page information, content prepared through Menyu, comments imported or processed by Menyu, and logs directly tied to the integration when they are no longer needed for security or compliance.

Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify a person or Meta account may be retained to measure service reliability.

  5. Related documents. For more information, review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
